The Kuvasz features a long wavy coat, which occurs in solid white. Males stand 28-30 inches tall at the withers, and females measure 26-28 inches high. These animals are irreplaceable in guarding cattle against predators and also do well in guarding property against intruders.

The Kuvasz breed appeared in Hungary in the 13th century, and initially it was meant for managing and guarding livestock. Over centuries, the animal has developed a striking guarding excellence and people-orientated disposition. He is very protective and must be socialized properly. If you buy dog from a rescue, it may need training.
